TRU-Vu Monitors is excited to announce that we have been acquired by Trident Motion Technologies. Trident Motion Technologies is a leading manufacturer of motion control components and controls serving a wide range of industries.
How does this affect you? In short, nothing will change in how we provide quality industrial-grade and medical-grade LCD monitors and touch screens. Joining the Trident Motion family will allow us to be better positioned in pursuit of additional product capabilities while keeping our world class service level.
Our staff will remain in our Arlington Heights office with no changes. Herb Ruterschmidt, who founded the company in 2009, will be instrumental in transitioning the business to our new General Manager, Paul Lin. After a transition period, Herb will be retiring from TRU-Vu, but will be available to ensure TRU-Vu’s ongoing support.
TRU-Vu Monitors will report up through Global Point Technology (GPT), a member of the Trident Motion family. GPT is a global sourcing and services platform providing supply chain, engineering, and value –added solutions for the Trident family of companies and their customers.
GPT’s capabilities include injection molding, solenoids, wire harness, mechanical and electrical components, rubber products, PCB, electromechanical assemblies, contract manufacturing and tooling. GPT provides high-quality customer engineered components and assemblies serving markets in commercial, industrial, automotive, and medical industries.
GPT has over 38 years of experience in global sourcing of components and solutions in Southeast Asia. GPT can handle all aspects of a new or existing program offering capabilities that range from design, DFM, sourcing, logistics to warehousing on the east or west coast. GPT’s Asia based staff are on site and ensure efficient project management and product compliance.
